Drivers and Staff at CT Plus Guernsey wanted to do something special to mark the Armistice Centenary.
Working with The Northern (Guernsey) Branch of The Royal British Legion some designs were prepared.
The idea was to have a bus decorated with one hundred poppies. The bus would also carry the message - Please support the Poppy Appeal.
Kevin O'Kane from the Legion was pleased a company with many ex service people could play its part. He was delighted with the look of the bus. The Guernsey Police also put a poppy symbol on their vehicles. The Poppy Bus and police vehicles were displayed at the Northern Branch of the Legion before heading out to the local community.
For Remembrance all bus headerboards will carry a poppy symbol the centenary dates and the message We Will Remember Them.
