Welcome to buses.gg, the website for bus services in Guernsey. Whether you’re commuting to work, visiting the island, going shopping or just getting out and about – the buses are here to keep you on the move. The site contains all the information you’ll need to get about by bus – timetables, routes, pricing and ticket information, service updates and more.
Buses on Guernsey
The bus service is operated by CT Plus on behalf of Environment and Infrastructure, a States of Guernsey Committee. Our bus services operate daily and will take you almost anywhere on the Island.
The network of bus routes provides a high frequency of services to the Island’s main shopping centres, workplaces, beaches and visitor attractions, and our modern bus fleet offers a very comfortable and passenger friendly ride.
Catching your bus
You can board the buses at any of the stops around the island. There are more than 750 bus stops either painted on the road or shown by bus stop signs on poles.
When catching your bus aim to be at the stop five minutes before. Please signal for your bus, holding out your hand. In winter hold out a lit mobile phone screen as an extra help in the dark. If not use the back of your puffinpass.
Please be aware that a number of the stops serve several routes, so be on the look out for the right bus as it approaches.
Please note for security reasons the designated shelter stop at the Guernsey Airport is the only place where a bus can be caught in that area.
You can find details of our routes , times and journey planning tools here.
Connections and changing buses
If your journey cannot be completed using one bus route and you need to change routes to complete your journey, you do not need to pay twice. Exchange your bus ticket (to use the next available onward service that day) and the driver will then issue transfer ticket valid for onward travel.
Please note that this transfer bus ticket cannot be used for return journeys and cannot be used when re-boarding a bus if it had been possible to complete your journey on the original route.
